-flag-warning-
I have extracted this text from the blog of a young woman, one who is in no undue danger from using the web. Like many of her generation, she has parents whose concern include proper restrictions, so “keeping up” with her friends has been a balancing act, like it always is during adolescence. Nobody is perfect, but Amy comes pretty doll-garned close to it, lemme tellya.
She is, perhaps, guilty of underaged brilliance. Where it stands now, if you do not know her, that really is too bad for you, as far as this old geezer is concerned. She really IS worth ANYONE’s attention. But there are too many “bad” folks out there, so I would rather isolate her. This is how a parent might feel, so I try to understand things I cannot really. Say Yes, Dear. Now, Explain Yes (SYDNEY)™
-dys-yen-
“no” easily expressed anyway!
I really cannot find any “logical reason” to have always been fond of that name there, Sydney, but it’s true. Even now, I misspell that one so much of the time that I have to wonder why, if I want to wonder about it. But it really is not going to change, if I like it, I like it, and that’s that. It is better if I understand, but not necessary.
So then, if you are supposed to be positive in all your answers and in every word that comes out of your mouth, it will likely be somewhat unclear how to say “no” and not be negative about it. When you say “no” and the requestor did not want to be refused, it can lead to a conflict. It might be only a minor one, and that is fortunate for everyone if it does not escalate. Often it escalates, and seems to “enjoy” doing so, as if a situation could have feelings.
Well, we get into troubles amongst ourselves, and trying to mend things often just makes them worse, and we want to walk away from them. When it really is time to walk away, we might not want to do it. Talk about getting it backwards, every time. Don’t leave when you should; stay when you shouldn’t. You’d think a person cannot “win” for trying, unless getting tired out is the goal, in which case, we will all win, big time, if we try.
I am really tired, and it seems like an unrestable kind of tired. Read the rest of this entry »
Strawberry Moon In June (SMIJ)™
-onto-just-a-wee-bit-off-
=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=
This is a month with a full strawberry box containing just one moon in it. How much messed up is my metaphoric mind now? Can we be arrested for overuse and abuse of question marking? Well, can, or may we? Nevermind, and neverland.
=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=
The strawberry moon comes when the tilt makes the appearance of the moon’s arc across the night sky (thus, we can actually see it not really moving there) lower than it seems to be when seen in the other seasons, espex-shully the winter when it is higher than the other times, which I barely mentioned. Nakedly would be barely, but Read the rest of this entry »
